3.3 When a Hole is Started but Player Does Not Hole Out (usga.org)
AN ALTERNATIVE TO STROKE AND DISTANCE FOR LOST BALL OR BALL OUT OF BOUNDS

When a provisional ball has not been played, this local rule provides an extra relief option that allows a player to play on without returning to the location of the previous stroke.

TEE BOXES
At the discretion of the club coordinator and scorekeeper, golfers, 75 years and older may be given the option to play from the forward tees, as well as those golfers with temporary health or physical issues. Handicaps are adjusted accordingly.
BUNKER PLAY
Established in 2015 (Rancho Park), Rainbow rule allows you to place your ball out of a shoe print in a bunker, no closer to the hole, no penalty.
PREFERRED LIES:
Preferred lies will become automatic at any time "Cart Path Only" is designated. In addition, and as necessary, the rule may be invoked the day of play as determined necessary by t he tournament chair.
Preferred lies: A ball lying on a closely mown area through the general area may be lifted without penalty and cleaned. The ball position must first be marked and then placed within one club length of and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a bunker or penalty area and not on a putting green. Note: "Closely mown area" means any area, including paths through the rough, cut to fairway height or less.
HOLE IN ONE FUND
Membership dues include contribution to the hole in one fund. The club will pay up to $300.00 towards the bar bill, to help defray refreshment costs for club members who are present on the day of the HIO.
